The Butcher, The Baker, The Cappuccino Maker – Sunset Plaza

Sunset Blvd is the place to be for ambrosial food. The Butcher, The Baker, The Cappuccino should be one of your first stops when driving to West Hollywood, California. This restaurant encompasses Modern California cuisine influenced by European cooking. From buttermilk biscuits to matcha latte, to a Hot Truffle Chicken Sandwich, you will leave with a gigantic smile upon your face. So who’s ready for Brunch?!

The Chai Tea Latte with Oat Milk was soothing to my soul. One of my favorite hot drinks! The Chia Pudding was crunchy, smokey, and had a luscious texture. The Butcher’s Egg’s Benedict with Fried Chicken was divine. The creaminess of the hollandaise against the crunchy outside crust of the chicken along with the raspberry tomato jam was the absolute best combo of flavors on my palate. I did not speak the entire time while enjoying each bite of this dish, my plate was clean. This is a must try from the menu at The Butcher, The Baker, The Cappuccino Maker.

G.O.A.T (Avocado Toast): is a slice of toasted ciabatta with honey, goat cheese, avocado, lemon dressing, arugula, red pepper flakes & a fried egg. The choice of ciabatta bread makes this plate of food more filling for a foodie. The creamy texture of the goat cheese and honey cuts through the tanginess of the lemon dressing and the bite of the arugula. The addition of the red pepper flakes creates a hint of heat in the back of your throat. I had a difficult time deciding between G.O.A.T, Shrimp & Grits, and Southern Comfort. I will definitely visit this casual neighborhood cafe again to check out the other two dishes.

Cactus Taqueria – Studio City

Tongue & Mexican Chorizo Tacos
Photo Edited by: Obdulio Carreras

Light, Simple, Fresh- Delectable food…This was my first time going to this restaurant and they have 4 locations! I was pleased with my two tacos!I went exotic with my choice in meat: the first taco was Tongue and the other taco was Mexican Chorizo. The tongue was flavourful and tender, along with the addition of the fresh guacamole and the tomatillo salsa verde. The Mexican Chorizo taco had a lil kick to it but I love a lil spice in my bite!
