Here is a sweet and savory dish! Its simple and only includes five ingredients. This dish can be created for any holiday or gatherings or just Sunday dinner!
Savory Baked Sweet Potato

Notes
Substituted regular butter for Cultured Vegan Butter (from Trader Joe’s called Miyoko’s).
Can substitute Parmesan Cheese for White Cheddar Cheese, Provolone or Monterey Jack Cheese.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic
- 6 small sweet potatoes
- 2 – 3 stems organic fresh dill weed
- 1 gallon sized ziploc bag
Instructions
- Preheat oven at 365 degrees
- Skin the sweet potatoes
- Slice the sweet potatoes in rounds, not too thick
- NOW LET’S RUN A DRESS REHEARSAL
- Using the round pieces smallest to largest first, create a spiral effect in your 9 inch pan stacking the sliced sweet potatoes (See Picture)
- Chop the garlic and dill weed
- USING A LARGE ZIPLOC BAG COMBINE THE FOLLOWING INGREDIENTS:
- Sweet Potatoes, Dill Weed, Garlic Cloves, and Shredded Parmesan Cheese
- Adding melted butter last
- Toss Vigorously, not breaking the sweet potatoes
- Spray the round baking 9 inch pan
- LET’S BEGIN THE ASSEMBLY
- SIMILAR TO THE PREVIOUS DRESS REHEARSAL: using the same method as before, smallest to largest layer the sweet potato and sprinkle the shredded parmesan cheese IN ROTATION
- Place into the oven for 50 mins, please watch until golden brown
